Of all the things I take photos of, the small stuff brings me the most joy. Macro photography, or close-up photography of small subjects, is my personal obsession and passion. I delight in finding and sharing nature's tiniest details that are too often overlooked. 

Ironically, I discovered my love of the tiny worlds close to home by traveling thousands of miles to some of the remote corners of the earth. Upon returning from these great adventures, I began to realize that the joy and excitement of discovery that I got from macro photography rivaled, and often surpassed, the joy and excitement elicited by exploring far-away places.

Now, I revel in the challenge and adventure of finding and documenting nature's insane beauty that exists in the most mundane spaces. Nothing makes me more giddy than discovering a new mind-blowing detail of nature right at my feet.
